challenges accepted
i love solving problems, so challenges are accepted with open arms. if it’s something i’m good at, i’ll handle it. if it’s something i’m not good at, i’ll figure it out. I challenge myself each and every day to practice my passions and learn simply for the sake of learning.
while i’m studying marketing at indiana university, i’ve recently decided to take an online computer science course to challenge myself and expand my skill set.
I live out of the comfort zone
“be afraid and do it anyway.” this is a quote i’ve been determined to live by since the day i heard it. i’m a firm believer that all fears can be overcome with exposure, practice, courage, and metaphorically (or physically) jumping headfirst out of a plane. Doing the things that have initially scared me the most have always become my most valuable learning experiences.
so when i’m tempted to step back from an incredible opportunity due to fear of any sort, i step forward.
i want to make a difference
I want to build positive change in the world in both my professional and personal lives. this motive is why i’ve spent three years both raising mental health awareness on my campus and fundraising year-round for riley hospital for children.
i promise above-and-beyond
i’m an extremely hard worker and a bit of a perfectionist. because of this, i promise to exceed expectations in whatever i do. i don’t do mediocre and i don’t take shortcuts. i will, however, work impossibly hard to deliver above-and-beyond results.
